LARGO -- A Tarpon Springs man arrested in August after technicians at a computer store discovered child pornography on his broken computer pleaded guilty Thursday to possession of child pornography.
Darill Wilson, 40, was sentenced to four years' probation by Pinellas-Pasco Circuit Judge Phil Federico. The judge withheld a formal finding of guilt and ordered Wilson to have no unsupervised contact with minors. Federico also imposed $683 in court and investigative costs.
Technicians at CompUSA, 23656 U.S. 19 N, noticed the child pornography after Wilson brought his home computer in for repairs. Police said Wilson admitted downloading several pornographic pictures involving children from the Internet.
