Durham, the Rays' Triple-A affiliate, moved into the International League final with a 4-2 victory over Toledo on Friday, completing a three-game sweep of the first round.
Dewon Brazelton, the Rays' 2001 first-round pick, pitched seven strong innings in his second Triple-A appearance, allowing seven hits and striking out four.
Rocco Baldelli, the 2000 first-round pick, tied the score at 1 with a third-inning single and put the Bulls ahead for good with a fifth-inning triple. And Jason Tyner's sacrifice fly made it 3-1. Catcher Paul Hoover had three hits and finished the series 6-for-9.
The Mud Hens closed to within 3-2 with an unearned run in the seventh after an error by Russ Johnson.
But Tyner threw out the potential tying run at the plate. Jason Jimenez worked the eighth and Rick Croushore the ninth.
The Bulls open play Tuesday in the Governors' Cup championship at Buffalo.
