CRYSTAL RIVER -- A pedestrian was hit by a car early Saturday morning while crossing State Road 44.
According to Crystal River police, the pedestrian, a woman, was struck about 6 a.m. Saturday.
She was airlifted to Tampa General Hospital.
Police said the woman's injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.
The accident happened at the intersection of SR 44 and U.S. 19. No charges were filed against the driver.
Neither the woman's nor the driver's identities were available.
