Chris Yeazell

Candidate for Pinellas-Pasco Circuit Court, Group 8

Over the past 13 years I have had the privilege to represent 6,000-plus individuals. During that time, I have handled 125 trials, successfully litigated in the appellate courts and have appeared before the Florida Supreme Court. I have coordinated treatment for numerous individuals suffering from mental health-related illnesses and was honored by being voted runner-up Attorney of the Year by the Pinellas-Pasco Public Defenders.

I was the pro bono legal adviser for the Pinellas County Young Mothers' League and have been a volunteer with the Pinellas County Schools, St. Vincent DePaul Community Law Program, Suncoast Girl Scouts of Florida and St. Jude's Parish Annual Festival. I am also a member of Friends of Weedon Island.

Beyond my criminal practice, I have significant civil experience. I have handled on a pro bono basis plaintiff sexual abuse cases and cases in the area of corporate, contract and administrative law.

I am a candidate for circuit judge because I feel strongly that improvements in our legal system need to be made and judges are in the best position to effect those changes.

I am honored that I have the extraordinarily enthusiastic support of all of my colleagues in the legal community. One-hundred plus attorneys signed on to serve on my committee within days of the announcement of my candidacy, and hundreds of others have offered their help since. I have also been endorsed by the Police Benevolent Association, as well as 150 other endorsements.

Thank you for your support.
