CLEARWATER -- A Largo woman was arrested Wednesday on suspicion that she helped her boyfriend commit a robbery on Woodlawn Street in Clearwater.
Deborah B. Jones, 23, whose last known address is 401 NE Rosery Road, is charged with driving a getaway car during a June 26 robbery at 1130 Woodlawn St.
Her boyfriend, Eric M. Anderson, 27, was arrested earlier this month in connection with two robberies and an aggravated battery.
Anderson was the first person arrested in a string of violence in the North Greenwood neighborhood of Clearwater. In the four violent home invasions, two people died and two more were shot, but survived.
Anderson has not been charged with any of the cases where people died.
Clearwater police say Jones was driving a four-door Oldsmobile on the night of June 26 when she passed next to people standing in a yard. Anderson, who was armed with a handgun, got out of the car and ordered the victims to the ground, arrest reports state.
Anderson took $70 from the victims, then left in the car. The victims know Anderson and Jones and told police who robbed them, arrest reports state.
