Four arrested after drug buy

THONOTOSASSA -- Four people were charged with armed drug trafficking after undercover agents bought methamphetamine during a deal this week.

Arrested were Nesbit A. Willhite, 29; Kirby A. Brynes, 18; Katrena D. Rudd, 29; and Christopher L. Lough, 23. All of the suspects lived at 10617 County Road 579 in Thonotosassa.

Hillsborough sheriff's deputies and Drug Enforcement Administration agents bought 225 grams of methamphetamine from the four suspects on Thursday morning and, according to deputies, the four brought a loaded .45-caliber handgun to the deal.

Authorities said they found nearly 60 grams of the drug in the home on County Road 579, along with five guns, after the arrest.

The street value of the drugs was $14,000, deputies said.
