RESTAURANT IN TAMPA PALMS: Stonewood Tavern & Grill opened Sept. 3 in the Tampa Palms area. The restaurant at 17050 Palm Pointe Drive offers appetizers and entrees that include Emerald Bay crab cakes, herb-encrusted rack of lamb and oak-grilled steaks and seafood. Restaurant hours are 5 to 10 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays (tavern opens at 4 p.m.), 4 to 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 4 to 10 p.m. Sundays. For information, call 978-0388.

IRISH PUB OPENS: Austin Duffy's Irish Pub and Restaurant opened its doors last month at 16411 N Florida Ave. The 7,000-square-foot establishment has been completely remodeled since housing Jimmy O's and the Luxury Box, landlord Roger Rigau said. It includes a dining room and lounge as well as a night club separated from the rest of the restaurant by soundproof walls. Menu items on the restaurant side include sandwiches and entries of steak and pasta. Hours are 11 a.m. to 3 a.m. daily. For information, call 963-3696.
