Robin Matson has been named marketing director for Bessolo Design Group Inc., St. Petersburg. Matson was marketing director for DLR Group, Tampa.
The Tampa Bay Advertising Federation has announced officers and board of directors for 2002-03. Officers are: Michael Quigley, president; Shannon Bennett, president-elect; Nicole Paksoy, vice president; Robert Clydesdale, treasurer; Sherrie Davis-Kinkead, secretary; and Marc Sutherland, immediate past president. Quigley is vice president of Sign-Age of Tampa Bay, Clearwater; Bennett is a senior account executive with Southeast Exhibit Productions, Tampa; Paksoy is director of marketing and public affairs for the Tampa Bay chapter of the American Red Cross, Tampa; Clydesdale is an information specialist in the marketing department for the city of St. Petersburg; Davis-Kinkead is an account manager for Roberts Printing, Clearwater; and Sutherland is vice president of Sutherland & Wilcox, Tampa. Board members are: Jane Bunch, Shelly Bramm, Richard Hayes, Susan Lowe, Bill Moore, Nan Nadler, Wendy Rooks and Chris Smith. Bunch is a certified business analyst for the University of South Florida Small Business Development Center, Tampa; Bramm is president of Bramm Films, Tampa; Hayes is president of Digital Lightbridge, Tampa; Lowe is an account executive for Clear Channel Outdoor, Clearwater; Moore is vice president of Direct Mail Systems, Clearwater; Nadler is a freelance copy writer, Tampa; Rooks is a multimedia artist for SideStep Productions, Tampa; and Smith is an account executive for Tampa Bay Metro, Tampa.
The University of Tampa board of fellows named officers for 2002-03. Officers are: James B. Murphy, chairman; Renee Williams, chairwoman-elect; Charles Klug, treasurer; Yvonne Bean, membership chairwoman; Penny Hulbert, development chairwoman; Ed Lester, University of Tampa activities chairman; Marcus Greene, business network symposium chairman; and John Foster, Fellows forum chairman. Murphy is a partner at the law firm of Shook, Hardy, Bacon, Tampa; Williams is director of arts and cultural affairs for the city of Tampa; Klug is an associate at the law firm of Ruden, McCloskey, Smith, Schuster & Russell, Tampa; Bean is director of public relations for the Tampa region of McKibbon Hotel Management Inc.; Hulbert is vice president of commercial banking for Northern Trust Bank, Tampa; Lester is a partner at the law firm of Carlton Fields, Tampa; Greene is senior vice president of wealth management services for William R. D. Michael Givens has been named director of survey services for King Engineering Associates Inc., Tampa. Givens was director of surveying for Weidener Surveying & Mapping, Tampa.
TEI Engineers & Planners, Tampa have announced the following appointments to the board of directors for the Tampa Bay chapter of the American Society of Highway Engineers: Andres E. Nunez Jr., treasurer; and Angela M. Garland, secretary. Nunez is founding principal and serves as principal in charge; Garland is a project manager.
