Robin Matson has been named marketing director for Bessolo Design Group Inc., St. Petersburg. Matson was marketing director for DLR Group, Tampa.
The Tampa Bay Advertising Federation has announced officers and board of directors for 2002-03. Officers are: Michael Quigley, president; Shannon Bennett, president-elect; Nicole Paksoy, vice president; Robert Clydesdale, treasurer; Sherrie Davis-Kinkead, secretary; and Marc Sutherland, immediate past president. Quigley is vice president of Sign-Age of Tampa Bay, Clearwater; Bennett is a senior account executive with Southeast Exhibit Productions, Tampa; Paksoy is director of marketing and public affairs for the Tampa Bay chapter of the American Red Cross, Tampa; Clydesdale is an information specialist in the marketing department for the city of St. Petersburg; Davis-Kinkead is an account manager for Roberts Printing, Clearwater; and Sutherland is vice president of Sutherland & Wilcox, Tampa. The University of Tampa board of fellows named officers for 2002-03. Officers are: James B. Murphy, chairman; Renee Williams, chairwoman-elect; Charles Klug, treasurer; Yvonne Bean, membership chairwoman; Penny Hulbert, development chairwoman; Ed Lester, University of Tampa activities chairman; Marcus Greene, business network symposium chairman; and John Foster, Fellows forum chairman. D. Michael Givens has been named director of survey services for King Engineering Associates Inc., Tampa. Givens was director of surveying for Weidener Surveying & Mapping, Tampa.
TEI Engineers & Planners, Tampa have announced the following appointments to the board of directors for the Tampa Bay chapter of the American Society of Highway Engineers: Andres E. Nunez Jr., treasurer; and Angela M. Garland, secretary. Nunez is founding principal and serves as principal in charge; Garland is a project manager.
