He's teeing up for laughs

He's a comic and a caddy, a guy who will be working double shifts this weekend.

Michael Collins is in town for the PGA's Tampa Bay Classic at the Westin Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor. During the day, Collins will be carrying clubs for South African golfer Brenden Pappas.

At 9:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, then, Collins will take the stage at Coconuts Comedy Club in Clearwater for his stand-up act. The Pennsylvania native has appeared on Comedy Central and MTV, been an opening act for Gallagher, Joan Rivers and Richard Belzer, and makes frequent stops on college campuses.

Coconuts is at 24095 U.S. 19 N (Sunset Point Road and U.S. 19). Tickets are $12. For reservations, call (727) 360-5653.
