You may remember New Orleans band Better Than Ezra's 1995 hit Good, from their album Deluxe. Or maybe their other big single, Desperately Wanted, from the 1996 Friction, Baby album.

The top 40 pop-rock trio invades the University of South Florida Special Events Center at 8 p.m. Monday, promoting their latest album release, Closer (2001).

Also performing is New Orleans rock band Cowboy Mouth. The four-member male group is building a following by touring with such bands as Barenaked Ladies and Sister Hazel.

Tickets can be purchased from Ticketmaster.

The Better Than Ezra/Cowboy Mouth show will be the first concert of the semester sponsored by the Campus Activities Board.

The next CAB concert is Nov. 17 and will feature the hip-hop band Nappy Roots, who are on the Sprite Liquid Mix Tour with Jay-Z.
