Wide receiver Taylor Jacobs on he and Rex Grossman:
"We were on today. I feel that when me and Rex are on, it's hard to stop us."
Coach Ron Zook on Grossman:
"Rex is a competitor, he's a winner that just gets better every day. Rex has said all along he begins to feel the system and he knows it. Any time you put in a new system, the offense, defense and special teams, it takes time under pressure. The fact that we played two really good football teams has maybe helped us grow faster than it would've."
Defensive tackle Ian Scott on Zook motivating the team before the game:
"I think he got a little extra incentive to get excited because the (public address announcer) mispronounced his name before the game."
Wide receiver Kelvin Kight on Jacobs:
"Taylor was great. He's one of the best. He has the speed, the hands, the quick moves, he has everything."
Kight on getting hit by linebacker Eddie Moore:
"He did get a good pop on me again. Luckily out there I was just able to jump back up."
Wide receiver Carlos Perez on UF's receivers:
"There is a receiver after Taylor. There's a couple of them. Everybody was bashing the receiving corps at Florida, so we came out here and showed everybody that it's not only Taylor. Rex got some confidence in us. We're still young. What you just saw you might see even more."
Grossman on his performance:
"It's sweet because we beat Tennessee at Tennessee. It's a big game for the SEC East."
