LUTZ -- The Olden Days Pioneer Descendants 16th Annual Reunion is scheduled for Nov. 2 at Lutz United Methodist Church in Lutz.

The church is at Second Avenue NW and First Avenue NW near the Lutz Volunteer Fire Department. The luncheon meeting will begin at 10 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. To be eligible you must be a resident of Lutz or a descendant of a Lutz resident who resided in Lutz prior to 1950. William Hoedt, one of the members, says people can fudge a few years.

The cost is $1 for children age 12 or younger, and $4 for adults. Each person is asked to bring two dishes of food: one meat and one vegetable or dessert. This year's theme is birds, and people are asked to wear old-fashioned clothes.

"We especially want all the young people of these old time families and descendants to attend," said Elizabeth MacManus.

Barry Newberger will provide music.
