TALLAHASSEE -- The Florida Supreme Court has started a 90-day test making all cases pending before it available online.
The online docket will be updated twice a day, at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., for anyone who wants to review documents filed with the court.
To find a case, go to the Internet Web site, www.flcourts.org. Court cases can be found by case number, names of parties or attorneys. "We invited the legal community, the media and the public to try this new system and let us know how well it meets their needs," said Justice Barbara J. Pariente, the court's technology expert. The court has long made high-profile cases available online and regularly broadcasts arguments made before the seven justices each month.
