Eventually, about 100 homes will be on more than 60 acres, on sites ranging from a third of an acre to half an acre, developer Dan Dunn said. Lots range from $114,900 to $130,000 on the lake and in the mid to high $70s on conservation areas, he said. Nineteen of the 58 sites in the first phase have been reserved.

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dunn and his partner, Mario Polo of ERA the Polo Group, will have an RV on the site, and prospective buyers "will be able to get the lay of the land," Dunn said. "We haven't moved any dirt yet, and we're getting our permits."

Builders are Lindhorst Construction, which builds at Silverthorne in Hernando County and at Sugarmill Woods in Citrus and has wanted to expand into Pasco, Dunn said, and Port Richey-based Lexington Homes. Buyers also can bring in their own builder. Dunn said homes will range in price from around $300,000 to $600,000. Construction should start in the spring.

Amenities will include a practice putting green, a butterfly meditation garden, a boat ramp and tennis courts. The 14-acre lake was stocked years back, "and people tell me they've got 7-, 8-, 9-pound bass out of there," Dunn said.

Greyhawk at Lake Polo is eight-tenths of a mile west of the Suncoast Parkway (Exit 19) on the south side of State Road 54 in Odessa. For information, call Dunn at (727) 919-7386.
