If you've got ideas about money, we've got a way for you to share your 2 cents on the subject.

Join the Money Panel
We are gathering a new roster of participants in the St. Petersburg Times Money Panel, a group of readers willing to share their opinions and experiences with Times reporters. If that sounds interesting to you, please take a few minutes to enter your information online at www.tampabay.com/moneypanel or fill out and mail in the form found on page XH.

As our thanks for sharing your information, you will have a chance to win one of five great prizes. We are giving away a $50 shopping spree at International Plaza, tickets to performances at the Mahaffey Theater and Ruth Eckerd Hall and tickets to a Tampa Bay Lightning game and Cirque du Soleil at Tropicana Field.

If you were part of the Money Panel in the past, please fill out a new form to continue your participation and to have a chance to win a prize. Only one entry per person is permitted, but spouses can participate by filling out separate forms.

Enter online or clip out or copy the form in today's paper. Entries must be received by Oct. 31 to be eligible for the prize drawings. All five prizes will be given away. Complete contest rules are published in the classified section.

Our first Money Panel, recruited last year, provided us with lively comments by readers as both stock prices and interest rates plummeted. We interviewed participants about topics such as how they have been affected by falling interest rates, their outlook for the economy, their approaches to managing their 401(k) plans, their plans for spending their income tax rebates, their biggest investment regrets, their opinions about the stock market and even their recommended investing strategies for people in their 80s and 90s.

Money Panel members need not be experts. Our only requirement is that you be willing to share your thoughts and have your name printed in the Times. Sometimes we also ask if we may take photographs of Money Panel members for articles.

We want participants of all ages, incomes and walks of life. The more variety, the better. If you send in a form, you will be considered a member of the Money Panel, although you may or may not be contacted by a reporter.

The information you submit will not be used for solicitations or shared with any other companies.
