RESTAURANT OPENS: Cracker Barrel has opened its 180-seat restaurant and retail shop at the northeast corner of Bearss Avenue and Bruce B. Downs Boulevard. Hours are 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Call 977-8988.

BEALL'S SIGNS LEASE: A Beall's Outlet store is moving into space once occupied by a U-Save supermarket in the Waters-Hanley shopping plaza. The 13,000-square-foot store at 7539 W Waters Ave. will sell clothing, shoes and gifts. Hours will be 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sundays. NEW PUBLIX OPENS: Publix has opened at the Shoppes of New Tampa off Bruce B. Downs Boulevard in Wesley Chapel. Store hours are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Call 994-4242.
