Military newsBy Times staff writer© St. Petersburg Times published October 9, 2002 Army Pvt. Justin J. Stanton, son of Keith and Donna Stanton of Largo, graduated from basic training in Fort Jackson, S.C. He received an expert rifle badge and a special certificate of achievement for volunteering at the base chapel. He has been assigned to Fort Eustis, Va., for advanced individual training on the Black Hawk helicopter in preparation for crew chief service. He is a 1999 graduate of Clearwater High School. Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class John W. Williams, son of Gloria A. and Francis T. Williams of Clearwater, graduated from the nuclear power training course in Ballston Spa, N.Y., where he learned about nuclear theory, chemistry, physics, reactor operations, safety and security. He has been designated as a nuclear propulsion plant operator. Williams is a 2000 graduate of Clearwater High School. Coast Guard Fireman David W.
