New Tampa

SUB SHOP PLANNED: Lenny's Sub Shop is scheduled to open next month at 17519 Preserve Walk Lane in New Tampa. The Philadelphia-style sandwich chain will serve lunch staples, including hot and cold subs, deli sandwiches and salads. A second New Tampa shop is scheduled to open in December at 8225 Park Edge Drive. Call 281-0700.

Westchase

SEAFOOD RESTAURANT: West Park Village now has its own seafood restaurant. Catch Twenty-Three, 10103 Montague St., offers diners dishes such as shrimp scampi Caribbean style, peppercorn-crusted tuna and Maine lobster ravioli. The specialty is grilled fish topped with choice of cilantro butter sauce, creamy spinach Rockefeller sauce, roasted Creole tomato sauce or spicy mango salsa. Steak, pork and chicken entrees also are available. Hours are 4 to 10 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, 4 to 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 3 to 9:30 p.m. Sundays. Reservations are accepted. Carrollwood

PET STORE OPENS: PETCO has moved into the Palms of Carrollwood Shopping Center at the northeast corner of Dale Mabry Highway and Fletcher Avenue. The pet supermarket, which also offers grooming services, is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays. Call 968-9361.

WINDOW TREATMENTS: Drapeman Interiors has opened at 19261 N Dale Mabry Highway. The showroom in the Lutz-Lake Crossing shopping plaza offers custom drapes, verticals, shutters, shades and repair service. Call 933-0900.

BED STORE TO OPEN: Mattress Giant is under construction next to the Applebee's restaurant in the Carrollwood Commons shopping plaza at the northwest corner of Dale Mabry Highway and Ehrlich Road. Call Kimco Realty at (727) 536-3287.
