INDIAN ROCKS BEACH -- The City Commission is expected to vote on 1.5 percent raises for its leaders at a meeting on Oct. 22.

City Manager Tom Brobeil is proposing the pay hikes as a cost-of-living increase.

The mayor earns $472.77 per month. His new salary would be $479.86.

The four city commissioners each earn $367.71 per month. Their new salary would be $373.23.

The new salaries would take effect in April. Money already has been budgeted for fiscal year 2002-03 to cover the cost of the commissioners' raises.
