Miami stops Orlando in final minutes

ESTERO -- Brian Grant hit two free throws with a minute to play and Miami held Orlando scoreless in the final three minutes in the Heat's 82-81 preseason victory Saturday night.

Tracy McGrady scored 17 points, and Grant Hill had 14 for the Magic.

NUGGETS 103, LAKERS 81: In Oklahoma City, James Posey scored 15 and Chris Anderson and Nene Hilario each had 13 to lead Denver.

SUNS 94, KNICKS 87: New York's Antonio McDyess injured his knee late in the fourth quarter. He was scheduled for an MRI late Saturday. McDyess had 23 points and 15 rebounds. Shawn Marion led the visiting Suns with 23.

SPURS 93, HORNETS 76: Stephen Jackson scored 19 to lead San Antonio in Biloxi, Miss.

PACERS 86, HAWKS 84: Rookie Fred Jones hit a running one-handed shot from the right baseline with 3.8 seconds for host Indiana. DELE MEMORIAL: Former player Bison Dele and his brother were memorialized by roughly 250 friends and family members in Los Angeles as investigations into their fatal sailing trip in the South Pacific in July continue.

KINGS: Guard Mike Bibby had surgery on his fractured right foot and may be sidelined 6-8 weeks.

76ERS: Former Temple center Ron Rollerson was signed.

WIZARDS: Veteran forward Charles Oakley signed a one-year contract, reuniting him with former teammates Michael Jordan and Patrick Ewing. Terms were not disclosed. ... Rookies Juan Dixon and Jared Jeffries brought a banner signed by the team to an assembly at Benjamin Tasker Middle School, where a 13-year-old boy was shot by a sniper Monday.
