    HAUNTED HOUSE: Take a ghoulish tour to its ghastly dead end at a free haunted house at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and Oct. 26 and Oct. 27 at 98th Avenue N and Starkey Road in Largo. Donations benefit local public schools. Call 319-0270.

    HALLOWEEN ART: From 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, children 4 and older will create spooky crafts at the Palm Harbor Library. Advance registration required. The library is at 2330 Nebraska Ave. Call 784-3332.

    FREE SHOW: Rhythm Works Dance Studio will offer a free show, scenes from the ballet Dracula featuring dancing mummies, monsters and zombies, at 2 p.m. Oct. 27 at the studio, 29121 U.S. 19 N, Clearwater. Everyone who wears a costume will receive a prize. Free treats. Call 786-5530.

    ENCHANTED FOREST: Take a scary night walk on trails loaded with creepy critters at 7 p.m. Oct. 26 at Moccasin Lake Nature Park, 2750 Park Trail Lane, Clearwater. There will be entertainment around the campfire and s'mores at the fire circle. Admission is $5 for people 13 and older and $3 for children 3-12 (kids 3 and younger are free). Call 462-6024.

    HAUNTING HALLOWEEN: Have some Halloween fun from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. Oct. 26 at the Dunedin Community Center, 1141 Michigan Blvd.

    HAIR SCARE 2002: Hosted by the Grim Reaper, this ghastly costume gala from 6 to 10 p.m. Oct. 26 benefits Locks of Love, a not-for-profit organization that provides hairpieces to children suffering with hair loss due to a medical condition. There will be food and drinks, and DJ Matius will provide music. Call 726-8181.
