By Times staff writer Robbers in robes hit Hess gas stationMASARYKTOWN -- Two masked men robbed a gas station in Masaryktown early Tuesday, authorities said. No one was hurt and no arrests have been made. Two men walked into the Hess Express at U.S. 41 and County Line Road about 12:36 a.m., the Hernando County Sheriff's Office reported. One wore a white mask and black robe and held a rifle; the other wore a tan mask and brown robe. One ordered the clerk to open the register. The clerk asked if he was joking, and the robber repeated his demand. She gave them about $70, and they ran away. Investigators found tire tracks nearby, and at least one resident in a Pasco County mobile home park saw a possible getaway car. Anyone with information may call 754-6830. 12-year-old girl arrested after school disruptedSPRING HILL -- A 12-year-old girl was arrested for disrupting school Tuesday after she led two assistant principals and a sheriff's deputy on a chase around Fox Chapel Middle School, according to a sheriff's report. A substitute teacher called Deputy Marcie Alford about 1 p.m. and said she was having problems with a student. Assistant principal Sharon Bray and Alford went to the classroom, but the student ran and would not stop when asked. Another assistant principal joined the chase and the student ran into a classroom of 23 students. Alford caught and handcuffed her.
