ORLANDO -- Dirk Nowitzki scored 16 of his 23 points in the third quarter, and Dallas beat the Magic 102-95 Thursday night in the final preseason game for both.

Michael Finley had 15 points and Raef LaFrentz added 14 for the Mavericks.

Orlando was led by Tracy McGrady, who had 20 points and seven rebounds. Mike Miller added 14 points and rookie reserve Ryan Humphrey had 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Orlando's Grant Hill sat out with the flu, and Darrell Armstrong was out with a strained shoulder. Horace Grant missed his eighth game as he continues to recover from offseason knee surgery.

76ERS 93, ROCKETS 89: Allen Iverson scored 20 points to lead Philadelphia, but Houston's Yao Ming was the big attraction. Playing in his first game before the home fans, the 7-foot-5 Chinese center had 13 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocks in 24 minutes.

JAZZ 89, RAPTORS 82: Greg Ostertag, who has been slowed by an abdominal strain that developed after he donated a kidney to his sister, had 10 points and 10 rebounds for host Utah.

KINGS 115, CAVALIERS 94: Bobby Jackson scored 21 points to lead Sacramento in Los Angeles.

WARRIORS 108, NUGGETS 80: Jason Richardson scored 24 points and Antawn Jamison added 17 in Golden State's rout in Colorado Springs.

BUCKS: Forward Cedric Henderson and guard Laron Profit were cut to get the roster to 15.

PACERS: Guard Reggie Miller flew to Los Angeles for treatment on his sprained right ankle and will miss the team's final preseason game tonight at Minnesota.

SONICS: Owner Howard Schultz ended discussions about selling a portion of the team to former Lakers star Magic Johnson. The Sonics waived point guard Miles Simon, a former All-American at Arizona.

TIMBERWOLVES: The team is close to reaching an agreement with free-agent point guard Rod Strickland, according to his agent, Leon Rose.

WIZARDS: Washington traded point guard Chris Whitney to the Nuggets for forward George McCloud.
