NEW YORK -- Mike Richter won his 300th game when Petr Nedved scored 2:20 into overtime to give the Rangers a 3-2 comeback victory over the Coyotes on Monday night.
Pavel Bure scored two goals set up by Eric Lindros in the second period as New York snapped a four-game winless streak at home.
Richter, who holds the franchise record for wins, made 29 saves in his second straight strong outing after getting pulled in the first of Friday's 6-2 loss to the Kings. He is the 19th player to reach 300 wins.
Nedved won it for him when he took a pass from Vladimir Malakhov and got a shot to trickle past Coyotes goalie Brian Boucher.
Bure scored the winning goal in the final minute Saturday at Toronto, snapping a five-game winless streak and backing Richter's 36 saves.
PENGUINS 3, CAPITALS 2: Mario Lemieux missed nearly 10 minutes to be treated for a bloody face, then returned to score the decisive goal for host Pittsburgh.
Lemieux was the clear winner in his first regular-season meeting with longtime teammate Jaromir Jagr, who won five scoring titles with the Penguins before being traded last year.
Lemieux, the league's leading scorer, set up Jan Hrdina's goal before getting hurt late in the first. He has five goals and 15 assists for 20 points in nine games and has scored or assisted on 20 of Pittsburgh's 31 goals.
Jagr did not score in the matchup with the man he still idolizes and calls "my teacher," and now has one goal in five games against his former team.
MAPLE LEAFS 5, MIGHTY DUCKS 2: Mats Sundin and Robert Reichel each scored and had an assist as host Toronto ended a four-game winless skid.
Alexander Mogilny, Nik Antropov and Alyn McCauley also scored for the Maple Leafs, who have just three wins in 10 games.
Toronto's hockey-mad fans booed the Maple Leafs in each of their first three losses of a seven-game homestand.
Anaheim backup goalie Martin Gerber allowed four goals on 12 shots before being replaced by Jean-Sebastien Giguere to start the third.
STARS 4, OILERS 3 (OT): Mike Modano scored his second goal of the game 37 seconds into overtime for visiting Dallas.
Modano one-timed a cross-ice pass from Darryl Sydor past Jussi Markkanen for the winner, ruining the Oilers' rally from a two-goal deficit in the third.
BLACKHAWKS: Theo Fleury, suspended indefinitely by the league Oct. 8 for violating terms of his substance-abuse aftercare program, has resumed working out. It is not clear when he will return.
WILD: Left wing Marion Gaborik, who had a franchise-record six points against Phoenix, was named the NHL player of the week. Gaborik had three goals and five assists in four games, including two goals and four assists in a 6-1 road win over the Coyotes on Saturday. He also had a goal and an assist in a 4-3 home overtime victory over Calgary on Tuesday.
