The county will have a public meeting today about an upcoming demonstration project to remove muck from Lake Seminole. Residents with questions can ask them from 4 to 7 p.m. at Osceola High School, 9751 98th St. N.

Three companies will spend $1-million of their own money to show county and state officials they can clean the 684-acre lake. They plan to remove 1,000 cubic yards of sediment through a rapid dewatering technique.
