Palma Ceia Christian Church

LOCATION: 3516 Bay to Bay Blvd., Tampa

SERVICES: Worship services at 8 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sundays; Bible school at 9:30 a.m. Sundays and 7 p.m. Wednesdays

LEADERSHIP: John A. Meisenbach, minister, and Dan Richards, youth minister

HISTORY: The church began with a group of dedicated Christians who met in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Miller on April 21, 1947. The group had the desire to present New Testament Christianity to people of the Palma Ceia area.

MEMBERSHIP: 250

COMMUNITY OUTREACH: Provides a widows' ministry and other small group ministries; participates in short-term mission trips and sponsors sporting events.

NOTEABLE: The church's mission statement: "Palma Ceia Christian Church exists to exalt Jesus Christ by saving the unbeliever and strengthening the believer through Him,"
