KENT, Ohio -- Joe Alls rushed for a career-high 179 yards and two TDs as Bowling Green remained unbeaten with a 45-14 win over Kent State on Saturday.
The Falcons extended their winning streak to 11, scoring 24 off four turnovers by Kent State. Josh Harris completed 18-of-24 for 201 yards, two TDs.
Bowling Green entered leading the nation in scoring at 47.7 points, the only team in Division I-A to average more than 240 yards both rushing and passing. The Falcons ran for 272 and passed for 214.
AKRON 34, MARSHALL 20: Charlie Frye threw for one TD and ran for another for the visiting Zips. Marshall fumbled nine times, losing five, and Byron Leftwich and Stan Hill each threw an interception.
ARK. ST. 38, S. UTAH 16: Danny Smith carried 23 times for 150 yards and two TDs for the host.
NEVADA 24, SMU 6: Zack Threadgill threw for 270 yards, two TDs for the visiting Wolf Pack. Nate Burleson, who leads the nation in receptions per game, had 13 for 129 yards and a TD.
BYU 34, SAN DIEGO ST. 10: Matt Berry threw for 280 yards and three touchdowns as the host Cougars rebounded from their worst scoring drought in 31 years with 403 yards. BYU led the nation in scoring last season but had just 22 points in three straight losses.
RICE 33, TULSA 18: Backup quarterback Greg Henderson ran for 141 yards and two TDs in his first career start, and Robbie Beck ran for 150 yards and a TD for the visiting Owls.
MIAMI (OHIO) 38, OHIO 20: Luke Clemens rushed for 97 yards and two TDs for the host RedHawks.
COLGATE 31, LAFAYETTE 24: Luke Graham caught 12 passes for 206 yards and two TDs for the host. Graham became the third Raider to record more than 200 yards receiving, first since 1998.
GEORGETOWN 24, MARIST 17: David Paulus completed 10-of-23 for 201 yards, two TDs for the host.
DUQUESNE 59, IONA 10: Niel Loebig threw five TDs, including four in a 39-point second for the host.
