CONSULTING

Chitester Management Systems Inc., Tampa, has announced the following appointments: Ozge Denizli, business development manager for educational services; and Anna Peters, sales representative for educational services. Denizli was a directing manager for Bisk Education of Tampa, in its University Alliance division; and Peters was an international program representative for Bisk.

DEVELOPERS

Michael D. Dady has been named regional manager for the North Florida Land Development division for Lennar Corp., Tampa. Dady was the development manager for the Tampa Bay operations of Terrabrook.

EDUCATION

Theresa Klingel has been named public relations director for the Science Center of Pinellas County. Klingel is a recent graduate of Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, Ohio.

LEGAL

Robert H. Waltuch has been named a shareholder at the law firm of Fowler White Boggs Banker, Tampa. Waltuch was an equity partner with the law firm of Holland & Knight LLP, Tampa.

Kevin Johnson has been named a shareholder at the law firm of Thompson, Sizemore & Gonzalez PA, Tampa. Johnson was an associate.

MARKETING

Jennifer Fisher has been named public relations coordinator for HLA Marketing Communications, Tampa. Fisher was an account executive for Weber Shandwick, Denver.

Lindsey M. Stopa has been named a public relations associate account executive for Sahlman Williams, Tampa. Stopa was an account coordinator with Carlman Booker Reis Public Relations, Orlando.

MEDICAL

Lise Casady has been named ARNP coordinator for Mease Countryside Stroke Center, Safety Harbor. Casady was a nurse practitioner for the inpatient rehabilitation unit at Tampa General Hospital.

Charla Moye is the recipient of the National Nurse Hero Award, given by the American Red Cross and Nursing Spectrum magazine. The award is given to 15 nurses nationally for going above and beyond the call of duty in saving or attempting to save the life of another person under adverse conditions. Moye was recognized for responding to a neighbor's call for help when a car swerved out of control, hitting all three of the family's children. Moye prioritized care and gave instruction to others while performing lifesaving CPR. Moye is a cardiac intensive care nurse at Tampa General Hospital.

ORGANIZATIONS

Tampa General Hospital Foundation, Tampa, recognized Jim Warren with the James M. "Red" McEwen Award and Mary Jo Hart with the Madeleine P. Gibbons Award. Warren has been chairman of the foundation for the past three years and is a senior vice president at Salomon Smith Barney Inc., Tampa; Hart is a 10-year volunteer at Tampa General and currently serves as president of the auxiliary.

PHARMACY

DrugMax Inc., Largo, has re-elected the following members to its board of directors: Jugal K. Taneja, William L. LaGamba, Ronald J. Patrick, Martin Sperber, Robert G. Loughrey and Dr. Howard L. Howell. Sushil Suri was elected to the board of directors. Taneja is chief executive officer; LaGamba is president and chief operating officer; and Patrick is chief financial officer, all for DrugMax. Sperber retired as chief executive officer for Schein Pharmaceutical Inc., Florham Park, N.J.; Loughrey retired as senior vice president and manager of Mellon Business Credit Inc., Chicago; Howell, an orthodontist, has a private practice in Clearwater; and Suri is chief executive officer and chairman of the board for Morepen Laboratories Ltd., New Delhi, India.

REAL ESTATE

David B. Watkins Jr. was installed as president of the Florida Apartment Association. Watkins is regional vice president for Greystar Management Services, Tampa.
