DADE CITY -- Two women have been released from jail after deputies said they beat up a pregnant woman and her co-worker in a convenience store.

Brenda Siller Perez, 26, of 37422 Warren Ave. faces a charge of aggravated battery, and her sister Jessica Siller, 22, of 37226 Gaskin Ave. faces a charge of simple battery.

Jessica Gonzalez, who is five months pregnant, and Maria Gonzalez were working in their family's Circle G Food Mart at 15446 14th St. on Tuesday afternoon, according to a Pasco sheriff's report.

Perez and Siller came into the store and an argument ensued, sheriff's spokesman Kevin Doll said Wednesday. Jessica Gonzalez told deputies that Perez's brother is her baby's father. According to the report, Perez struck Jessica Gonzalez in the mouth and scratched her body.

Siller fought with Maria Gonzalez, striking her several times and cutting her scalp, the report states.

Perez and Siller were released on bail from the Pasco County jail at Land O'Lakes about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday.
