TOWN 'N COUNTRY -- Fawn Ridge resident Ed Crawford has been tapped to head the Town 'N Country Alliance, an umbrella group of civic and homeowners associations, schools, churches and businesses. Crawford replaces outgoing chairwoman Joyce Smith.

Other goals for the new year include the group's continued participation in the Town 'N Country Community Plan, the Upper Tampa Bay Trail project and traffic calming.
Other new officers are Carlton Lewis Jr., vice chairman; Pam Prysner, secretary; Laura Vickers, treasurer; and Bill Rose and Joyce Smith, directors.
