Soccer club seeks players

Hillsborough County United Soccer Club is seeking players for the following teams: boys 8 years old and younger recreational, U-10 boys competitive, U-12 boys division 3 competitive, U-12 girls competitive and U-14 girls competitive.

Teams play at the Ed Radice Sports Complex on S Mobley Road. The season ends Feb. 1. Cost is $115 for recreational play. Call Adrian Bush for information on competitive play and Tracy Davis for recreational openings. They can be reached at 792-7757.

Register for New Tampa little league, softball

Sign up for the New Tampa spring baseball and softball season. Baseball signups for 5- to 16-year-olds and girls fast-pitch softball for 7- to 15-year-olds will be held at the New Tampa little league park, 18050 Kinnan St., from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 7, 6 to 9 p.m. Dec. 11 and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 14.

Cost is $90 for T-ball, $105 for all other teams. Parents should bring a picture ID, proof of residence (such as a utility bill) and the child's original birth certificate. The season starts Feb. 15 and ends May 16. Call 994-0074.

Community center offers swim program

Swim Tampa Aquatics is seeking boys and girls, ages 5 to 19, for its year-round competitive swim program. New swimmers are welcome. Cost is $155 per two-month period. Swimmers meet at the Jewish Community Center, 13009 Community Campus. Call 546-4894.
