SEMINOLE -- Is your pooch looking for a playmate? If so, there happens to be a new hangout in town for dogs.
The Paw Playground at Boca Ciega Millennium Park, where dogs can romp without a leash, opens at 10 a.m. Saturday.
And not to worry, Chihuahuas don't have to mingle with Great Danes. The park has separate areas for small and large dogs.
The 1-1/2-acre park also features drinking fountains and cooling stations for dogs and benches for their owners.
Saturday's opening is the third Paw Playground in Pinellas County's park system. Anderson Park in Tarpon Springs and Fort DeSoto Park, at the end of the Pinellas Bayway, also have dog parks.
Boca Ciega Millennium Park is at 12410 Old Oakhurst Road. Call 464-3347.
