Bright ideas for the Festival of Lights
By Times Staff Writer

When Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights, begins at sundown Friday, Jews around the world will gather to light the candles that commemorate a miracle. But the oil lasted eight nights, giving the Jews time to acquire a new supply of sacramental oil.
Menorahs today run the gamut, including works of art, fun toys for children and unique family keepsakes. Here's a look at menorahs and accessories to celebrate this joyful season.
