CATERING BUSINESS MOVES TO CARROLLWOOD STOREFRONT: Cantinas By Elena has opened at 5305 Ehrlich Road, just off Hutchison Road. The catering business is geared toward weekly orders of home-delivered family meals. Three- or four-day service also is available; menu selections include Spanish and Italian dishes. The owners hope to launch a takeout restaurant at the location in January. Call 963-1511.

WESLEY CHAPEL BEALL'S OPENS: Beall's opened its doors Nov. 1 at 1814 County Road 581 in the Shoppes of New Tampa. The department store sells clothing, shoes, accessories, housewares and gifts. Hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sundays. Call 907-2174.

NORTHDALE BANK CLOSES: The First Union bank at 3845 Northdale Blvd. has closed. All First Union branches in Florida now operate under the name Wachovia. For information, call the nearest Wachovia branch.
