St. Anthony's Triathlon

Registration for the 20th annual St. Anthony's Triathlon begins today. The Olympic-distance (.9-mile swim, 24.8-mile bike, 6.2-mile run) event will be held April 27 in downtown St. Petersburg.

The race will be capped at 2,000 individuals and 50 relay teams. Registration for the 2002 race closed in a record 32 days. An additional 500 applications will be accepted for the Meek & Mighty triathlon, a shorter race for youths and novice adults.
