Frosted Cashew Cookies
Frosting:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. For dough, cream butter and brown sugar; beat in egg and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients and add alternately with sour cream. Fold in chopped cashews. Drop onto baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes. Let cool. For frosting, lightly brown butter, then remove from heat. Stir in cream, vanilla and powdered sugar. Beat until smooth; spread on cooled cookies. Makes 5 dozen. Source: Phyllis Herzog, Clearwater. |
