Bar manager, wife face drug charges

BEVERLY HILLS -- The manager of Cracker's Bar & Grill in Crystal River and his wife were arrested on drug charges Tuesday morning. Armed with a search warrant, detectives from the Citrus County Sheriff's Office searched the home of 47-year-old Joseph Garrick and 34-year-old Vicki Garrick at 4995 N Goldwood Ter. Cocaine, marijuana, ecstasy and drug paraphernalia were found in the master bathroom, an arrest report said. The Garricks each were held on four drug-related charges. They were taken to the Citrus County jail and, later Tuesday, released after each posted $11,000 bail.

Bomb threat empties county courthouse

INVERNESS -- The Citrus County Courthouse was evacuated just after 11 a.m. Thursday in response to a bomb threat. Inverness police and the bomb squad from the Citrus County Sheriff's Office searched the building but found nothing suspicious, a sheriff's spokeswoman said. People returned to the building just before noon.
