Binky, Midgett and Mut

Beat that!

These guys aren't chumps either.

Binky was named the Class 4A Coach of the Year by the Florida Dairy Farmers.

Midgett is 143-for-271 with 13 interceptions, 18 touchdowns, 2,381 yards and has already committed to Florida.

Mut has had his troops stuff the run all season, and it has worked. Charlotte is 13-0 for the first time in the school's 78-year history.

A Loooong Time Coming

All three won their semifinal games, but only Blake (Class A) and Pinecrest (Class C) won state titles (the last Hillsborough County teams to do so).

Blake and Pinecrest closed within two years of their title seasons because of integration.
