Senior guard Kent Williams broke out of an early slump Saturday, scoring 25 as the Salukis improved to 4-0.

Williams, Southern Illinois' leading scorer the past three seasons, went in averaging 14 points on 43 percent shooting. He was 11-of-16 against the Indians as SIU beat SEMO for the ninth time in the past 10 meetings.

The Salukis, who never trailed, used a 12-0 run to build a 36-16 lead with 8:13 left in the first half. The Indians got within 40-36 with 2:23 left in the half, but SIU opened the second with a 17-4 spurt and cruised.

UP NEXT: At Ill.-Chicago, 4 Saturday.
