STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- Kelly Mazzante scored 30 to lead No. 11 Penn State to an 82-56 victory over St. Joseph's on Tuesday night.

Tanisha Wright added 23 points and Ashli Schwab had a game-high nine rebounds for Penn State. Stephanie Graff led St. Joseph's with 18 points.

Mazzante began one of two 10-point runs by hitting a jumper 10 seconds into the second half. Schwab's basket capped the run 21/2 minutes later and put Penn State in front 46-31.

From there, Penn State relied on strong free-throw shooting (96 percent) and a stingy full-court press to hold the lead.

St. Joseph's built a 20-14 lead but could not contain Mazzante, the nation's top scorer last season.

NO. 9 VANDY 98, WIS.-MIL. 51: Abi Ramsey scored 15 of her career-high 18 in the first half, when the host Commodores established a huge cushion.

Chantelle Anderson had 22 points and Jenni Benningfield 17 for Vanderbilt, which led 56-13 at halftime, the biggest margin at the break in the program's history.

NO. 23 TEXAS 86, TCU 54: Reserve Alicia Sare scored 17 as the Longhorns posted their third blowout victory at home.

Texas, which opened a four-game homestand, has struggled badly in two losses away from the Frank Erwin Center. The Longhorns have won their three home games by an average of 91-38.
