PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Tim Gaynor, Sr., Central. Led North Suncoast with 1,351 yards.

COACH OF THE YEAR: Bill Browning, Hernando. Turned a 3-7 team into playoff qualifier.

FIRST TEAM

OFFENSE

QB: Chris Bunch, Jr., Crystal River. Improved every game. Passed for 8 touchdowns and 440 yards. Rushed for 4 TDs and 388 yards.

RB: Tim Gaynor, Sr., Central. His 14 touchdowns were third-best on North Suncoast.

RB: Ryan McNally, Sr., Crystal River. Third-year varsity player rushed for 1,101 yards and 14 touchdowns in addition to making 60 tackles as an outside linebacker.

RB: Rod Roberts, Jr., Hernando. Had 760 yards rushing (7.9 per carry) and 5 scores.

WR: Mike Brown, Jr., Citrus. Led area in receptions and yards.

OL: John Humbert, Sr., Hernando. Center led experienced Hernando line.

OL: Chris Reeves, Sr., Lecanto. Graded out at 85 percent, anchored line three years.

OL: Steve Maxey, Sr., Hernando. Helped create holes for 700-, 600- and 400-yard rushers.

OL: Doug Massey, Sr., Crystal River. Had 23 tackles, a sack and blocked kick.

OL: Ryan Jones, Sr., Citrus. Three-year starter anchored Hurricanes' line.

TE: Nate Edwards, Sr., Lecanto. Three-year starter helped key one of area's top running games.

UTIL: Jagren Castillo, Jr., Hernando. Was half of the Leopards' potent backfield duo, rushing for 655 yards (7.4 per attempt) and 10 touchdowns. Had 168 receiving yards and two scores.

PK: Mike Hibbert, Jr., Springstead. Ten field goals made him the highest-scoring kicker on North Suncoast.

DEFENSE

DL: John Washington, Soph., Hernando. Recorded 25 tackles, team-leading four sacks.

DL: Anthony Wright, Jr., Central. Had four sacks, 36 tackles.

DL: Charlie Slattery, Sr., Crystal River. Logged 62 tackles, seven for loss.

LB: Chris Albrecht, Sr., Citrus. Three-year starter was among county leaders in tackles.

LB: Josh Hall, Sr., Crystal River. Had 64 tackles, including seven for loss, an interception, fumble recovery, blocked kick and sack.

LB: Andres Lawson, Jr., Hernando. Led area with 132 tackles.

LB: Ermine Lewis, Jr., Central. Tops in Hernando County with four sacks.

LB: Bam Cleveland, So., Crystal River. Speedy sophomore had team-best 86 tackles, 41 solos.

DB: Antonio Brown, Soph., Hernando. Led area with five interceptions.

DB: R.J. Cobb, So., Citrus. Great cover corner. Also rushed for more than 1,000 yards.

DB: Casey Snyder, Jr., Citrus. Tied for county lead in interceptions.

UTIL: Jimmy Sudlow, Sr., Lecanto. Team captain started on both sides of line and played in every game despite ankle and knee injuries.

P: Willie Fifer, Sr., Hernando. Heavy-footed kicker adept at pinning ball inside 20-yard line.
