By Times staff writer Woman faces charges in car-ramming incidentNEW PORT RICHEY -- An angry ex-girlfriend is facing charges of aggravated battery, stalking and child abuse after witnesses told Pasco sheriff's deputies they saw her ram her ex-boyfriend's car six times while a 13-year-old boy was in the car with her, an arrest report said. Ann Marie Hooke, 44, of 7215 Oakshire Drive was arrested at 7:37 p.m. Monday after she told deputies that she left threatening messages on John Galatro's voice mail and hit his car once. Galatro, 34, and two witnesses said Hooke followed Galatro to Orchid Lake and Regency Park boulevards where she rammed his car with hers, yelling "I'm going to kill you." Her arrest report said she followed Galatro to a 7-Eleven convenience store at Rowan Road and Nebraska Avenue, ramming his car once on the way. In the parking lot of the 7-Eleven, Galatro said he got out of his car, and Hooke rammed it twice more, then drove at him, stopping short of hitting him. Galatro got back into his car, which Hooke rammed twice more before he drove down Nebraska. Galatro said Hooke rammed him twice more on Nebraska. Galatro played for deputies messages from Hooke in which Hooke is heard saying, "I am going to get you -- you're going down," her arrest report said. Hooke was taken to the Land O'Lakes jail and faces one charge each of aggravated battery, aggravated assault, aggravated stalking and child abuse. She was being held Tuesday night on $4,000 bail. Storage shed at country club is set afireHOLIDAY -- Pasco County fire investigators are searching for whoever burned the Forest Hills Golf and Country Club storage shed early Monday morning. Pasco County fire Marshal Larry Whitten found that someone poured gasoline in the shed at 5211 Boardwalk St., and set it ablaze sometime between 1 and 1:45 a.m. A man living near the course said he heard popping noises coming from the course and went to see what it was. When he saw the fire, he called 911. Course officials said the fire did $3,000 in damage.
