Explosives bring down a damaged section of the new Memorial Causeway Bridge at 3 Thursday morning at the site in Clearwater. The 80-foot-long, 1-million-pound section of concrete was damaged this month when support steel shifted causing the section to sink and twist. The builder, PCL Constructors, will rebuild the section from scratch. |
