HOLIDAY -- A 65-year-old Homosassa man was charged with aggravated assault after a road rage incident on Christmas Eve, according to a Pasco County Sheriff's Office report.

Larry Sellitto, a 48-year-old Orlando man, began to argue with Charles Arthur Holt, who was riding in another car driven by his wife, as their vehicles traveled north on U.S. 19 near Alt. U.S. 19 at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday. Traffic was merging to the left because of an accident. Holt told deputies that he pointed his loaded .38-caliber gun at Sellitto, according to the report. Holt said that he was afraid that Sellitto was trying to run them off the road, the report said.

Holt was taken to the Central Pasco Detention Center and released at 2 a.m. Wednesday on $5,000 bail.
