Chucky's Chalk Talk

On the Bucs' 0-21 streak in games in which the kickoff temperature is colder than 40 degrees:
"I think that's for mentally weak people, personally. I think that's an excuse. It's hogwash. If we even bend to those standards, we're going to be distracted and find a way to lose the game. We're going to go play this game and play hard regardless of the circumstances.
On overcoming the sting of an emotional loss to the Steelers:
"If you don't put away what's happened to you, if you rely on your successes or you rely on your failures of recent past, it's not a real wise thing in this league. You've got to be a resilient guy, a tough-minded, thick-skinned individual to survive. I believe we've got the group of men that can get that done."
On whether the Bucs approach Sunday night will change if they can't improve their playoff position:
"We're going to play. We don't have a B-team. We don't have a redshirt freshman. We're paying a lot of money to players and coaches to go out there and play our very best. That's what we're going to do. I'm confident regardless of the outcome of any game, in any conference at any time we're going to go out there and play to win.
On the 4-11 Bears:
"All I know is they beat a New York Jets team two weeks ago that needed to win to improve their chances of making the playoffs. This is a good football team and they're not going to give us anything."
