Mary Lorentz cared for her husband at home until pneumonia almost killed him. She moved Richard into Menorah Manor nursing home in St. Petersburg. “People think they have time,” Mary says. “Maybe they do and maybe they don’t. They don’t realize it can go downhill overnight.”
