George Hoffman collects his thoughts while nurses check Lucille into her new home. George swore he would never put his wife in a nursing home, but that was before nighttime toilet runs and Lucille’s falls exhausted him. Ten years into her disease, he is so tired he’s falling asleep at stoplights.
