Cardiac surgeons at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, at University Community Hospital in Tampa and the All Children's-Bayfront combined heart program in St. Petersburg also provide transmyocardial laser surgery, a procedure to improve blood flow and relieve angina by drilling holes in the heart wall. A story in last Tuesday's Pulse section was incorrect on that point.
