Police offer of help touches off struggle
TAMPA -- A Tampa police officer offering assistance to a stranded motorist Saturday morning ended up shooting the man after a violent struggle by the side of the road, police said.
Man arrested in hit-and-run of 8-year-old
Tampa police arrested a 30-year-old Temple Terrace man Saturday in connection with a hit-and-run accident at 12:20 a.m. involving an 8-year-old girl.
