Net music takes a big step forward
The second of two online music subscription services gives a hint that the recording industry may be figuring out what its fans want after all.

    SAN FRANCISCO -- The heads of the leading online music subscription services, still looking for a smooth segue into the pocketbooks of music fans, say it will take time before their businesses fully tap into the nascent market.

Solutions: Monitor won't display more than 16 colors
Q. I am having trouble setting the monitor to anything above 16 colors. When I try to set it to 256 colors or 16-bit color, it goes back to 16 colors. How can I correct this? Where is this information stored in the computer?
